Hey guys, does this happen to anybody else? I've got a 2010 hatch... And I find that on colder days, the gas mileage is MUCH worse than on days with warmer temperatures. And it's not minor differences, I'm talking about 1-2L/100KM.
Just so that all the information is put down, and don't have to come back responding to questions; I don't warm up my car for THAT long, 2-3 mins tops. Also, driving style and conditions remain relatively the same (I'd say 80% highway... All the time).

I'd say there will maybe be a difference of how much you put your vent speed to be warmer or maybe if you're using the A/C to warm up faster.
Other than that... and the difference may be in the RPM stand-by work of your car, usually the car get higher RPM for warm up the engine...
Maybe other people will give more advise, but this happen to me to ;)

Newer cars and mileage are always off a bit. I just started getting consistant mileage after a year and 45,000 KM. I do almost 200 KM a day and mine suffers a bit when it's cold, but not as much since I put the SRI on it.

Oh yikes, I've been driving mine for about 3-4 months now, and I would have thought that it would be getting consistent xD
I was just wondering if this is something to worry about or not. And whether it's something that I would need to bring up to a dealer.
Thanks though! More opinions/input are welcomed!

Same hereee!!! In the summer I can make it to Toronto from Ottawa in less than 3/4 of a tank (I made it to Oshawa on 1/2 tank once :whoa), in the winter, it takes a full tank and a little bit :( So no worries. haha

Well we aren't there yet but there are a lot of things to consider.
1. Winter gas
2. Using the defrost.
3. Car takes longer to get up to optimal operating temp, etc
Just a few.

Yeah, I thought about those things... But even on tanks when I don't use defrost/heater, it will still be more than normal. Agreed on the longer to get up to optimal temp thing though.
