Cabin Air Filter

I was following my manual in replacing my cabin air filter but the process is too technical, found this video in the net, replace cabin air filter (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7af9jQ-zwU), can i follow this to replace mine?

lol. That Video was the most useless thing ive ever watched. Anyone able to give me those 2 minutes back i just waste?

From what i know, mazda3's dont have incab filters. Atleast i know my year didnt. What year is you 3?

Newer years have a filter in the blower box under the dash. The filters can be put in older years... they fit right in.

To change out the filter:
--Remove the glovebox (not sure if necessary, but easy to do, makes the job easier)
--Remove the PJB
--Remove the passenger left hand kick panel
--Remove the access panel on the blower box
--Remove the lower portion of the old filter
--Remove the upper portion of the old filter
--Installation is the reverse

Stupid amount of effort to change a filter!

I just did my cabin filter(06), wouldn't have been able to without a youtube video I found, you have to search a bit for it. Not a easy job to say the least. If you have a Mazda 5 forget it, the parts people say about 6-7 hours at the dealership.
