Interior Lights not turning on when switch is set to door... [Archive]

So like the title states, my dome and map lights are not turning on when I open the door even when I have turned the switch to "door". What happened was, I was fixing up a LED on my dome light then one of the wires came loose and I turned the switch to ON by accident then the fuse blew for the interior lights and for some reason leading to the fuse of my audio system to blow too, no big deal, I just got new fuses and replaced them with the correct one. Now that I have replaced the fuses, everything works fine but the interior lights do not come on when I open a door even when the switch is set to DOOR. Is there another fuse for that? anyone know of anything i can do to fix this problem? or should I bring it back to the dealer?

There's 2 fuse locations, there's under the hood and under the glove box. Perhaps you missed one.

I only changed the one under the hood, I don't see the one under the glove box in the manual so I never checked under there. Their is one by the driver side door but there's nothing regarding the interior lights there.

btw, mine is a 2010, perhaps the location for the fuse boxes are different...

Under warranty take it in and say it just happened and don't know what caused the failure..

Be sure to put the stock bulbs back if you are bringing it back to the dealer to look. do they light up with the stock bulbs?

yeah going to put the stock bulbs back for sure but I did try with the stock bulbs and it still didn't work...

Try Pming Dan and see if he knows? If not bring it in since your car is still so new.

Just bring it in to the dealer with your stock bulbs. I'm sure its a fuse somewhere.

Almost exactly the same problem with my 2011. I did not find any fuses blown. I took it to the dealer and they don't know what is wrong. I will have to book an appointment to have it looked at.

Does anyone know what the solution to this is/might be? Thanks in advance.
