They have them for sure.

You can also try Lazio bakery in Mississauga, Eglington just Passed Hurontario

Irenes Bakery might have them. - Eglington and Dixie.

There's another bakery on St. Clair that has them, near Weston. I just forgot the name of it, my nonna would take me their all the time.

I can call up my nonna tomorrow and ask her, she'll know exactly where to get them. if you want me too.

I live and work in Markham and was hoping to not have to travel TOO far (i.e. Etobicoke or 'sauga) :)

How the heck do you pronounce the name? I've called four different places in Woodbridge and no one knows what I'm talking about LOL

Poon-tin-nee?
Poon-teen-nee? <-- correct, thanks Fonz

I've learnt that Mondays are usually a day-off for some Italians :)

Negative, it is in face the Puntini candies. She brought me a few and they look exactly like this;

Super small candies. Very tiny. maybe half the size of a dime?

So I just talked to someone from the restaurant Tora Trattoria and he said those candies are from Poland, cannot be purchased any where locally except for a supplier downtown at Royal York and Queensway. However, to get in there, we need a permit.

I inquired further with the gentleman and once I find out the location of this restaurant (it was referred to me by a coworker when I asked about the candies) I will go meet with him and possibly just buy directly from him LOL

Such a damn mystery hahaha... source of supply in GTA has yet to be confirmed.

I called the resto owner back and will be meeting with him tomorrow to pick-up some.
