For the first time in over a month it was snowing in Calgary today. Wet snow and -1 = not a good combination. The roads were pure ice!!
So I was turning and lost control over my car, I was sliding for a bit and hit the curb with my passenger side, both wheels at the same time. After that I just kept driving and everything was fine until I noticed that to keep the car straight I have to turn my steering wheel a little bit to the right. No weird noises or anything else, just that steering thing. Any ideas what might have happened?
And another thing, I was doing my 24000 km/1 year maintenance thing today and they told me that my front tires were almost worn out!! How is that even possible to do in just one year??!!
Thanks everyone for your input.

Your alignment has most likely been knocked outta wack from the curb hit, I'd have your hubs, bearings and front end components checked asap.

As for your tires being worn-out, could also be alignment or maybe improper inflation or have you been rotating them every 8k?

This, go get it checked out...hopefully alignment only (about 80-100 bucks) but could have damaged some of the components too.

As for the tires being worn out...yup, that'll happen...the OEM rubber is junk and that's about all it lasts for, especially if you drive pretty aggressively. I got about the same out of mine, I ran the stock tires (and winters in the winter so a little less then half the time) until around 48,000km total before my OEM rubber was finished.

i did the same thing earlier this year cept i hydroplaind into a crub at 30km/h. i had to relplace: front rim, front lower control arm, front hub assemble, front bearing, rear rim, rear wheel bearing. i had to replace the suspension cause i knocked the camber out soo much that it had like 2+ camber and our front ends cant adjust camber, so i bougth BC coils and fixed that. finsihed it off with an alignment and iv been runing good for 5 months. the car will never drive the same bro just rember that.

Rotate your tires every 5k, 10k if you have to pay someone to do it.
