Umm minus the exhaust I don't think that's TOO bad. I like MX-3s. One of my best friends rebuilt the motor on his, and tastefully modded it... it was pretty cool.

I use the BMW on longer trips out of town and whenever I have to do rush hour (automatic).. I bought it in December with 18,000km on it. It's still got less than 19,000. I live downtown Toronto so I use the Mini daily... it's awesome to zip in and out of traffic... and it gets crazy gas mileage.

Hey my first car was a 94 grand am.

500,000 km and still purrs like a kitten. ( yes I still have it, I pull her out for a quick drive every few months. ) Never had any problems, outside routine maintenance.

Mine was a 96 with the 3100 and I managed to snap the cam in half. Which required a rebuild. Intake gasket issue more than once. Firewall leaked. That was just a couple of the issues lol.

The 3.1/3.4 had a terrible design and they were shit motors. The 3.8 is a different story. You are lucky with your GA though. :)

I was a part of a larger club Canada and the US and I can tell you that the 3.1 definitely had some design flaws. I'm not saying that it wasn't great for the amount of torque and power you could pull from it but it wasn't that great.

if not "rice" per se, then a big garish aluminum spoiler with no other aerodynamic or suspension mods is just stupid.
I'd say its closer to (my idea of) rice than some of the other cars Ive seen posted in this thread. Then again, its tough for 1 single mod to imbue riceness into a vehicle...its usually the result of several incriminating factors.
This spoiler, WITH a loud fart pipe and a crappy body kit, projector-less HIDs and some JDM stickers would be textbook rice, if you asked me.

Oh, and you're right, I think theres PLENTY of rice on these here boards...Its simply out of respect they arent (usually) called out to their faces

Those aren't rims. They're Canadian Tire hubcaps for his steel, presumably winter rims. Obviously the Celica came with alloys.

my neighbour has a 'o.z.' lancer which is the highest trim you can get for that generation of lancers, and it does not have a big ass spoiler. also it had a pretty nasty exhaust, which the picture cannot convey unfortunately.

The Mini is an efficient daily driver, not meant to be modded in any way. It's made for 4L/100km, and that's what it does.

I definitely appreciate the sheer amount of work you've done to your car. I put thousands of dollars into a FWD family sedan a few years ago to make it into a 450+ horsepower beast even before the NOS shot. It also had crazy bodywork done to it and not a panel was left untouched. Believe me my friend, I know the sheer amount of blood and sweat that goes into doing this kind of thing, and I truly appreciate and respect you for it.

That being said, I'll admit that the only reason I put the "factory spec" vinyl onto my Mini (got the measurements/stuff from Mini Canada and had the vinyl done accordingly) is to make it look more manly because of the super gay/girl color my car is. I'm not hiding that fact in the slightest bit.

I apologize for having offended you, because I do realize that even though "Haters gon' hate", words do hurt. For what it's worth, I'll share a photo of the car I "riced out". Yes, I have an over-calibrated rice radar and have nothing against your car.

For some it means custom paint/bodywork (weather a Mazda3 or BMW, bodywork is bodywork). For some old school guys, it means anything not made in North America. Good luck when you point out some of the domestic brand models made elsewhere, and the Honda's made here... they want no part of it.

If my car is considered rice by someone, I am cool with that. When some of the best builders, photographers, and aftermarket parts companies see the car and want to help with the build, parts, and use it in promotional material... I consider that a much bigger thing than some guy online saying it's rice.

Agreed! I would never do this on a DD!!! The Widebody is almost 5.5", and does not come out past the side mirrors, so the total width of the car is no different lol.... but I know what you mean! :)

This would stop her from biting the nails, reminding her of the fact that they are artificial and costly nails, whenever she felt an urge of biting her finger nails. She thought of it as a permanent solution to her addiction. But, this person was unfortunately was allergic to the solution used for adhering the acrylic nails to fingers, and had to stop the use of them. This brought her back to her habit, rather addiction towards biting nails.
The actual causes may be different for every individual, but the basic reason behind this come to halt at stress, anxiety and curiosity. This was what we found out of the survey.

it's a neat concept idea. I personally would never buy or make my exterior of my car completely baby pink. i drew the line at my pink rims. tee hee :)

Sedan or not, I like it. Everything fits right and pleases my eye. I would maybe lose the roof wing, but everything else stays :)
