View Full Version : Anyone noticed a " growl" lately???

This might sound strange, but has anyone else noticed a bit more of a growl to your engine since the onset of the colder weather recently?. Hope it's not just us!.LOL. There doesn't seem to be any difference in performance or anything, just a bit more of a "growl" under accleration. Your thoughts on this are appreciated.

It's probably because the car is just not working as efficiently so it needs a wider opened throttle to get the same acceleration, hence the growl.

nothing to worry about. This is normal in cold temperatures

the air is more dense, if anything, its more efficient (excluding engine startup)
