Has anyone found the fix for the high pitch noise ONLY in moisture?

I know there was a TSB for it but when i went to avante they said none existed for my year (2007).

Mind you, mine ONLY happens when its "wet" in the morning, or today wet/snowy etc. (It doesn't always happen with snow unless the snow is very 'wet"), but always happens with rain.

Sorry for the long video, I actually thought I was taking 2 short ones but my phone made it one big one...

Sorry for the rather poor sound.. but the constant noise you hear is actually it the higher pitched one, listen carefully and you see the regular lower engine noise.

Same thing happens for me, I just ignore it and eventually it'll smooth out.

ohhh it kinda sounds like a belt that needs to be replaced or something? (hard to pick out the sound in the video) I get that too when it's cold/damp..... glad I'm not the only one!

Its just cold/damp belts. All 4 cyl have this problem. I put some belt dressing on mine and it fixed the problem, but my belts are only a year old. So maybe yours need to be replaced?

A little off-topic but in your video, your dipstick for the oil is not properly inserted into the hole :)
