So recently I've noticed that my car headlight would flicker. It would not go completely on/off but would vary in brightness. I've only noticed this when I turn my wheel or do something going in and out of my driveway, not sure if it happened all the time.

Tonight I came home and noticed the bulb burnt out. About a month and a half ago, I replaced the bulb on the other headlight.

Should I be worried about bad wiring or any other concerns (with the flickering and the coincidence of both burning out in a relatively short time)?

Hmmmmm...

Double check your battery and alternator is okay.

When you steer, you're using power steering. When my battery started dying last week, I would lose power steering for a few seconds and all the interior lights would flicker.

Hm, I should probably get my battery checked. I noticed the other day, the car had some difficulty turning over in the cold.

So weirdest thing today. I went to change out the bulb today and the old bulb looked fine. I decided to plug it back in, and it worked without any issues. This is very strange. I did notice that on that side, the rubber grommet weather seal is missing.

moisture can prematurely end the life of a hid bulb get a replacement grommet to cover it.
