You have options 2 of the biggest ones right now would be KBox and Nfusion
They are both IKS boxes like you talked about.

Nfusion has a pretty good HD box available for around 440 flat cad shiped to your home.

Nfusion has most of the channels up, except for a few internationals, but unlike our previous FTA boxes the channels tend to fluctutate in terms of what is coming in and what is not.

So on any given week a few channels could go down, that were up just a week ago.

As of 2 weeks ago All HD and PPV sports were down on Nfusion.

But atleast i;ve given you something to work with :)

good luck!

Well, you're a bit too late. Most IKS is down as of a couple weeks ago. No one is totally sure when it will be back. Some boxes that were up are Nfusion, Sonicview, and kbox. Sonicview has some channels up now but not much.

Since N3 kicked in which is when your viewsat bit the dust, only IKS has been up. And IKS has only had non-PPV type channels (i.e. no ppv movies). Although sometimes they are able to get PPV events going like big fights. But like i said, as of two weeks ago mostly every thing is down (incl. IKS).

thats awesome, yea i need a easy fix, i already have reg cable from rogers that brings us 60-70 channels, but i know teh quality of that on a hd tv will be absolutely terrible...
i assume with both those boxes, no toucing outside would be needed? ie. changing the dish alignment and such?
i used to have dish network with 3 dishs, one was pointed to the states channels, one of the international channels ( we only cared about gol tv, and all the portugues and brasilian channels ) and one was fixed to a certain portugues channel ( this one still works now )
how long will these nfusion boxes last? and how easy would it be for me to get it up and going ? would it take the coax cable from the dishs from outside? and a ethernet cable to connect it to the net?
simple as that?

lol, i think we posted at virtually the same time. Just to correct something in your post...ALL of the channels are down on Nfusion! HD, SD, all down.

Also, the fluctuations you spoke of are channels that have moved from one transponder (TP) to another. The Nfusion does not have auto TP updates which is really annoying...so when channels move it appears as if they have gone blank. What you need to do is find an updated TP file on your favorite FTA forum and manually update your receiver via usb thumb drive.

This sounds bad but I actually sold my sonicview to buy an nfusion. The sonicview was good before N3 kicked in, in fact i would say they were the best. When it did, they added a dongle for ethernet connection to follow the same technology as nfusion (IKS). I found they were not as reliable (in the beginning) as nfusion. They may have improved now though...after all I think they are the only ones that have some channels up at this very moment in time. Anyway...back to talking about MAZDAs!!!

good luck all!

screw all this.. best time was when i had my CEMU/ST19xl emulation up lol.. i always felt cool that i had sat code constantly running on my monitor haha..

i haven;t used the IKS boxes, it sucks they are all down :(

I mostly need it for internationals indian/pakistani (for mom) and i want my PPV and HD, but these boxes cant provide any of that!

I'm sure N3 will be cracked publically sooner or later.... no leaks = no grey market profits which in turn means no more market for Nagravision to sell new encryption..

It's all about the money in the end! It will be broken!:headbang
