Have a Question about Remote Starter

I wanna install remote starter in 06 auto mazda 3, but when I ask dealer, he said its harm for engine and auto circuit, after I ask machanic in the private machanic, they said I ok for the the car, so i confuse, hey dude, can u give me some idea???
