Or should I say the lack of? I woke up and left my house 20 minutes later than usual this morning and got to work 15 minutes early. :)

I'm finished all of my shopping and have my new years eve planned, things are looking good for the remainder of 2009!

Who still has gifts to buy and who are you buying for? Who was your most challenging person to buy for?

Yeah it was good today. Hopefully it will be ok when I go to leave the city on Thurs. :bang

I am 90% done but just have to grab a couple things when I leave work today. The GF is always the most problematic but I've got that covered again this year. :bana

Enjoy it while you can!

This is how Rush hour should be all the time. Come January it will be back to the old grind and a pain in the A$$ bumper to bumper

OMG.
I was thinking the SAME thing this morning on my commute to work downtown. SO wonderful. fa ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra raaaaa! 20mins to get to work. weeee!!

It's usually like this for the next 2 weeks or so. So love it while you can before you want to bang your forehead off the steering wheel.

NAhhh, snow + traffic is only bad if it snows like mad in the afternoon to eff up the drive home. The morning snow traffic is usually good because everyone pussies out. LOL At least that's what I find.

lol!!!

Yeah it's still the same old commute here. Ugh and christmas shopping will have to be done on christmas eve!!! Boooo! I'm afraid to take all those gifts on my plane ride home (can't trust those airport baggage people.... lol)

Oh and as for the most challenging, STUBBORN OLD PEOPLE are the hardest to buy for. What do you get a little old lady that's just gonna go return anything you buy her anyway??? :chuckle

roads are clear, but stores are wrapped. Why do people stop in the middle of the walkway with shopping carts to talk or say hi to someone, and you cant walk past them??

:P I have to drive through that little bend on the 427 by the Molson facory coming home every day. Everyone loves to randomly stomp on the brakes/go 20km/h in that area if there is so much as a thimble of percipitation out.

Btw, your use of language is refreshing :chuckle All the women around me are all middle-aged prudes :winner

hey now, who are you calling mad?!
it takes 10 mins from where i live in sauga to get downtown with no traffic - so add a little and it's another 10. beat it!!

Let me rephrase my original post. "I love holiday traffic in the mornings". The drive home was absolutely brutal. What should have been a 30 minute drive was a 1 hour and 30 minute drive. I blame the sun.

Uh oh. Bryan is in trouble :chuckle

Even though my commute is a long-ass one there is never any traffic and especially now :)

Working in the Niagara Region has it's perks afterall...

Untill it takes you 3 hours to get from Guelph Line to Evans Ave. Don't complain... I hate that drive... takes soo long and a pack of smokes in the end lol. But I am glad I do not have to deal with the traffic now. Until I get back.

we've been blessed this year with relatively little snow...

today, left warden/hwy 7 around 8:03...got to work near eaton centre at 8:26, parked. the wife and I remarked that it was more than 10 yrs ago when the morning commute was like this. if every morning's commute was like today, living in the burbs and working downtown is a breeze...alas, it is not...

traffic this morning was awesome...
Usually leave my place (401 and bayview) at 9:10am and get to work (401 and Erin Mills Pkwy) around 9:45am. Today I left at the same time made a detour to SQ1 to buy a gift card and got to work at 9:50am.
