I have a 2010 M3 GS and a BlackBerry 8320 Curve. I got out of the car and my BlueTooth was working fine and the connection was active and there, both music and phone. I get back into the car 3-4 hours later and to the life of me my BlackBerry and my car will not connect. My phone is telling me the connection to my M3 has failed and defaults to the CD. I cannot make a call with BlueTooth using my car controls nor can I listen to the music on my BlackBerry, no connection, zip, none, nada. Nothing was changed. I shut off my car several times and restarted it since, still nothing. I shut off my BlackBerry and pulled the battery to reboot it, still nothing.
Anyone else have these problems with the built in BlueTooth in the 2010's??

by restarting did you mean you went through the whole process of linking the bluetooth with the phone?
if not, then try that.

try resetting the bb by turning it off then back on again.

Tried shutting off my BB and pulling the battery and everything and still no go...tried reconnecting with my car and it's not happening. Short of deleting the link to the connection, as both my car and BB know of each other it just they don't want to talk. I did absolutely nothing to disrupt the connection that was happening as soon as I got in my car since June....had the odd glich here and there but nothing like this...

Do you have another Bluetooth enabled mobile device that you can test with? Or possibly know someone who has one? Not that this will help you directly, but if you're able to pinpoint the problem to the car, shouldn't be too much hassle to get a warranty fix.

I took my car into the dealer yesterday and it turns out the module is done. They got one on order, said maybe today. We proved it wasn't my phone when I linked up with two different phones at the dealership. So all is good. Better when I get the module installed!!

I think the BT implementation isn't bad. Then again, I haven't had any issues like kramr has yet *knock on wood*

I picked up the car a couple of days ago, I've been using the BT quite a bit and everything seems to work perfectly... and I'm not tech.

The BT Module was replaced. Took about a half hour from the time I got my car in and by the time I drove away. Had to pair my phone and car again but no bid deal there. Works fine again. I use both my BlackBerry with BT and listen to the music I have on my BlacBerry via BT as well! All good!
