Reverse light working...need help

Just noticed that the reverse light doesnt come on. Did the ff but still wont work-

(1) checked the fuse, its not burnt out and i replaced it with a new one
(2) checked both reverse bulb, filament not burnt out either

any idea/s how can i fix this? before i go to the dealership.

Rerverse switch at the shifter.... there are a few threads about the parking/neutral switches going around here....

Is there a "reverse switch" part that needs to be replace?, can this be done DIY or by the dealership?
