My car started ?chirping? the other day when it sits in neutral (I have a 5 speed) and goes away when I slightly push in the clutch. When I release the clutch the noise returns.
I recorded the sound when I got home and I've linked it below. From what I've researched it could be a bad release spring?? but could that have caused my 4th to pop and get sort of stuck?
Has anyone heard this sound before? I have an 08.5 with 20K on it. I drive like a granny as well.

*I start recording from the drivers side front and later walk to the passenger side. Not as loud on the passenger's.
