View Full Version : Steering Alignment Question

I hate the 401 in the winter. There are potholes the size of my head everywhere. I think I hit a couple, and my steering is a fraction of an inch off to the left now.

It's really not a big deal, but I get really OCD about it :bang. And since it's an 05 Mazda3, it's probably a good time to get it aligned again.

Just wonder if I should take it in for a realignment, which kind I should go for, and how much they usually cost in Toronto.

Thanks,

make sure your not gettin ripped off, the 3 doen't get knocked out of alignment very easily and just a pot hole shouldn't have effected your alignment. get them to check your wheel balance aswell to make sure. i have an 04 as well as my dad and neither of our cars have ever been out of alignment, and my mom has hit one or two curbs in my dads car.

Thanks for the replies. I don't think the wheel alignment is off, and there's no pull. Just that the steering wheel is slightly off centred and it bugs me a bit. Should be a very fast and cheap job to fix? Maybe I can even do it myself.

Oh, and W_L89, thanks but I did do a search before I posted a new thread.

your toe likely is off but is off so that your car still tracks straight.
It happened to me when the alignment guy forgot to do a final check.

What does this mean?
