I'm curious, does anyone have a 2010 with a Compustar system installed? I've had so many issues and wondering if it's the Compustar system or if it's the car.

Sometimes then I enable the alarm it says a door is open (and I've checked millions of times to confirm they're all closed). Also, when I check the status of the alarm, it says FAIL... Anyone else getting the FAIL status?

Best Buy, but ONLY because it cost me $200 opposed to the $500 quotes from other places.

Ya mine was done at future shop...the guy that installed mine contacted compustar about the issue i am having and they told him to replace it with a new one with the latest software and it should be fine after..so hopefully this fixes my issues

looks like the installer hooked up the alarm with the dome supervision as apposed to the door trigger. I hate to rub it in your face but you should have done it else where I for one am NOT a fan of FS or BB doing instals

I had mine installed 3 weeks ago by Selective Sound. The alarm was installed correctly, but the Proximity Sensor was wired parallel with the Shock Sensor causing the shock sensor to go off ALL THE TIME for no reason. Davis at Selective Sound has troubleshooted the issue since he was not the installer and I have to make the trip back to have the Prox. sensor re-wired. Forget the $$ you may have saved by going to FS or BB and think about the peace of mind knowing you have professional installers who know your car and the system.
