3 alarm fire at 1270 Central Parkway near Burnhamthorpe Rd. and Mavis Rd.

Just saw this live on global news....they have alot of ems vehicles there...whole block is shut down, 2 air ambulance's called in, 11ppl possible trapped inside...

Hope no one here was there or harmed!

Wow thats big! That picture does not look like Central Parkway near Mavis. Looks more like Central Parkway where it meets Creditview at Burnhamthorpe. There is a little Chinese community there and a very popular snooker hall.

It was intense! I was driving down Mavis at the time. Helicopters and EMS BUS AMBULANCE.

Damn thats insane, good thing no one got hurt, but it is suspicious to have such a huge fire.

I actually work in one of the buildings in that plaza. Luckily I left work minutes before the fire started, while my poor co-workers got trapped until past 8pm as nobody could leave the plaza. most of them had to leave their car and take a cab home. Nobody got seriously hurt, but from what we've heard there were tense moments as some tenants of the building that was on fire got trapped for a bit as emergency exit doors apparently started to get hot. We saw Cam Wooley yesterday, he was there for quite a while. They're still investigating it afaik.
