that right there is the definition of power to weight. the ls1 is my favorite motor of all time its the basis of all lsx motors of today. the rx8 being a super light car to start with is asom, and cosidering the 5.7L LS1 is only 50 pounds heavier than the stock rotary but posses much more power and torque, and not to mention a beastly v8 roar.
much respect to anyone who does these motor swaps, JDM meet american muscle.

I guess it would be fun to drop a V8 into a car like that! I had a RX-7 back in the day and you can do so much to a 13b motor to make it kill any V8 on the road.

there are a lot of "monster miata" builds out there but this is the first time I've heard of a v8 rx (7 or 8)
