Dealer have no clue!!!

Need help please. My car has been sitting at Brampton, Mazda dealership for a week now, and still they have no idea what's wrong with the car!!! I have been searching and could not find anything regarding the problem. I have a 2007 Mazda 3 sport.

This happened 5 times over 2 years and 8 months, it does'nt happen all the time. The key won't go in the inginition, no matter how much you force it. When this happens you cannot lock or unlock the doors with the remote and the door chime is on as if the key is in the iginition. I have went to Mazda of Brampton twice already and still they have no idea. They just phoned and they won't touch it because their is electrical wires, they have informed Mazda Canada about this but have not received a call back.

I will be speaking to the manager tomorrow to make sure that I have this in writing just in case this happens when my warrenty is done in June, so it will be covered just in case.

If anyone has any ideas or it happened to you please can you give me the details of how it got fixed.

you need to go to another dealer... if they don't want to touch any wires, they are clearly incompetent... this problem sounds as simple as just an ignition switch which sometimes gets dislodged on these cars and cause the door chime to come on

I agree. Sounds like the ignition switch is acting up intermittently

Thanks, I see what they will tell me tomorrow........If they can't help me I take it to another dealer!!
