Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone is running 55w kits for their HID lowbeams? One of my ballasts is dying on me, and I've been looking at getting a 55w kit but I'm not too sure if it would be too much? I do alot of night driving on backroads etc in Milton so It would help but I don't wanna regret getting a kit that would cause too much glare..also I know the 07's don't require relays but would I need one with a 55w kit? Thanks!

I have 55 watt 4500K HIDs in my low beams. I also drive mostly in the country and the extra light is very nice. As long as your headlights are aimed properly glare is not an issue. If people are not flashing their high beams at you with 35 watt HIDs then you should be fine.

I recommend using a relay. The kit I bought included a wiring harness but most vendors who sell HIDs also sell the harness as separate item if it is not included in the kit.
