Does anyone know or have a shop that will just take my tires off the rims so i can powdercoat them.. I thought canadian tire would do it cheaper but they said they charge full amount as if i was putting new tires on. Thx

Check our sponsors I know John/Keith @ Exclusive Tires (Ajax) can do it but I know you're in Aurora so I'm not sure whether you want to do the drive!

I'm pretty sure if you go to any small shop they will do it for fairly cheap. On a sidenote, I tried doing it myself by completely deflating the tires and then trying to jump on them to break the bead. DOES NOT WORK. I did manage to do it for the tractor/lawnmower tires we had at work. Car tires are just too stiff.

Our newest sponsor GoFor Tires is in Richmond Hill, about 20 minutes from Aurora.

Which one? The tires or the rim job? :chuckle

Hopefully same price to remount and they are careful not to mess up the new finish. Probably just a bit more as there is the balancing and possible new valve stem.
