A hello to all,

I have a question for any and all 2010 Mazda 3 owners with the HIDs who have had the recall done.
After the recall have you noticed a difference in how the light spreads? Before the recall my lights were smooth and beautiful in the dispersion of light. Now however, they are inconsistant, and appear warped. Ihad to adjust my lights up for safe night driving, and now the high beam simply lights up the treetops. Funnily enough this has not been a problem for incoming traffic. I have gotten a few buddies to drive by, and they are not complaining.

Thanks,

mike

if they replaced the entire headlight assemblies, they may have gotten lazy and not reaim your headlights... if that is the case, you need to find a flat ground and a wall to reaim your headlights properly

Hey, I was going to take a picture, but Mazda Barrie replaced my lights too quickly for me to get around to them. Excellent response from them. Yes I realize I have complained about them before but that was not warranted.

he wasn't talking about your messed up original headlights
he's talking about your lighting problem, which is what this thread is about isn't it?

Sorry, I meant that they replaced the messed up lights.

exactly... so he's saying pics showing the current problem might explain things better :)

but I'd have to guess your lights are simply misaimed instead
