Last I heard - it didn't fit. But not sure if it was actually test fitted.

What do you plan to do about the stock ECU?

I'm pretty sure that it won't fit without modifying the fire wall (check m3f). As for ECU just get FIC or standback.

I have all the parts from the stock MS3 as well. Looking at both the stock exhaust manifold gasket and the MS3 one there is only a slight difference in the way it mounts. I'm pretty sure it will work.

One would definitely get a lot more out of using an aftermarket as supposed to the speed 3 turbo. The speed 3 one is pretty small, and to keep things safe you'd want to things like forged rods either way.

I would tend to agree...plus after all the time/money you spend getting a speed3 turbo in your car, you'll probably be asking yourself why you didn't just trade up to one. Or do have connections to do the work cheap? Just my two cents, good luck whichever way you go.

Buying a turbo kit is usually a better, more cost effective method... unless you have a hookup on cheap/free MS3 parts ;)

There's a MazdaSpeed3 engine for sale on ebay right now. Be a hero and throw that in.
