Headlights dim and back on

Hi I have a 2004 Mazda3 GT for about a month now. I noticed every time when my clutch engages (at friction point), my headlights dim for 0.5sec and back to normal. I also noticed that if I use the steering wheel (when the car is in neutral), the light dims and same thing happens when I use my power windows. I was wondering if any bros having the same problem???

No im not. That sounds like a poor ground, poor battery or signs your alt is on its way out. Dont quote me on these but its something id check first.

ya i heard of these too, but if its the alternator, should i replace it or i should wait until it dies????

my lights dim a little when i turn my wheel aswell. i thought that was normal as the power steering is draining power when you turn the wheel.

But it shouldn't dim when using the power windows.

if the battery is original, 6 years old by now, have it checked it might need replacing? and get a charging test done. I see no dimming when I use any power accessories and my battery is 5 years old.
