Best time to put summer wheels back on?

Spring is just around the corner.... warmer and dryer winter than usual ... when is a good time to put summer wheels back on?

Depends a lot on how much you drive. I might be able to get away with mid to late March this year if things warm up early. For people that drive to work they might want to wait into April to make sure there are no morning snow fall surprises.

1. When there has been enough rain to wash the salt and sand off the roads. Nice wheels...don't want to get covered in crap.
2. When temperatures are warm enough that the tires aren't rocks. Generally for Summers/All seasons this is said to be about 7*C. I'll take 5*C if the salt is washed away though.
3. Going by a date is useless, because you have no idea what weather will come afterwards.
