View Full Version : Rx-8 wheels

I have a chance to buy a set of 18x8 rx8 wheels for '06 mazda 3 hatch - I don't know any more specs on the wheels - are they the same hub bore size?, and will I have fit issues with these?

Any advice would be helpful - thanks

Center bore is 67.1 and the offset is 50mm..os it will fit with no problems

ive got tires for sale if you need them for the rx8 wheels. i just pulled them off my current rx-8's. PM

Thanks for the replies - one more silly question - can i use my mZ3 lug nuts as well?

im running my OE lugs on my rx-8's, just make sure everythings clean and tighten it pretty good.

No. They work fine. If you look at the RX8 wheels, the spokes flare out but the lug nut holes are the same distance to the hub. Do a SEARCH, this has all been discussed before and we're talking about a 5 year old fad.

As far as the 5 year old fad goes - i have only been on this site for a short time - didn't see much re: rx-8 wheels - know someone who is selling some and felt they are an upgrade - have only owned my car 1year so regardless it is what i want to do

Don't get me wrong. RX8 wheels still look really good on the 3. But to answer your question, yes everything is a perfect fit.

Just a quick question
These are the R3 RX8 rims right? How much do they go for used does anyone know? Also are there any 'replicas'

Those are the RX8-R3 rims. No replicas, and I recall they go brand new from the dealer for $1000+
