Just out of curiousity...would the toyota matrix 2010 xrs alluminum rims fit on the 2010 mazda3?
apparently the bolt pattern is the same, but do i need to worry about the brakes, etc.?
thanks for the answers guys.
I'm asking because my dad's car is the matrix, so I just had the idea earlier today. hahaha....

i i know that the earlier models of the matrix had a 5x100 bolt pattern and ours is a 5x114. So im not to sure about the new ones!

Unless the Corolla/Matrix changed their center bore for 2010 they won't fit. The 3 uses a 67.1 and the Matrix is 60.1. I couldn't really find anything written in stone for the 2010, but I would presume it is the same as previous years. The only thing I found listing the center bore for the 2010 Matrix: http://www.streetdreams.org/wheels-that-fit/2010/Toyota/Matrix/fwbrand/Tezzen
So in other words they won't go on over the Mazda's hub.

I would love to see the look on your dads face when he comes out the next morning to go to work to find someone swapped his wheels lol!

I recall someone on the boards here rocking IS300 rims at one time. Bolt pattern is the same, but the centre had to be bored out to fit.

Toyota has much wider rims on their higher trimmed Matrix models...I think the 17's are 17x8 and the 18's are 18x8, wicked rims!

they wont be direct fit, as already mentioned you're going to need to bore them out. another member, Mazda kitten bored out her rims iirc. she's rocking the STI BBS

My bro picked up a set of Toyota Matrix MTheory rims and they are 17x7.
