going to replace steel rims on my 2010 mazda3 gunmetal blue sedan as soon as the snow is gone.
looking for 17" rim suggestions ...
I would prefer to stay under $125-150/rim... is that possible for decent rims?
thanks!

$400-$600 for rims is a little low for decent ones. maybe $800-$1000 would be better

For $400-$600 he could get a 17" set from Rick. Some bronze indy's maybe? I think bronze would suit your car very well.

check out the sponsers around here first and they will be able to help you out. For the kind of money you are looking to spend /rim I think your only real option would be either american racing, or maybe some of the 'fast' rims, and even then that might be the price for a smaller size 15" or 16". Unless you want to talk about direct HK knock offs, that who knows how good their casting is. You could also look the used route.

I'm in the same boat as you. Don't have a huge budget for rims. I'm going to see SuperShyGuy at NextMod tonight, maybe he can help you out.

Good call. Unfortunately, I live in Edmonton... so the shipping costs might out weight any savings

^^^^^ That being said: any general suggestions to look for in rims?

Yes. I have read the stickies in this forum.
Any suggestions on brands (some better than others)? and overall design/colour suggestions to match the gunmetal blue?

I like a machined finished rim, nothing super shiny, I find multispoke rims look good on our cars. 7 spoke 10 spoke and so on. As for checking out one of our sponsors you never know until you try what shipping will be like

I think gunmetal would go great with your gunmetal blue.
