I'm hearing a loud (humming) noise coming from one of the wheels, I noticed it gets louder as I drive faster or when i turn right. I checked the brake pads and the rotors and everything seems ok. My guess is that it could be a bearing, if so how much would it cost with installation?

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me.

I always check www.rockauto.com. Just to get a ball park idea or different part #'s from various venders. Just push the big red button and fill out your info.

You need to replace ... HUB Assembly ....
get some good part like TIMKEN .. and you should be good :)
Front's are pretty cheap ...
Rear is more expensive ....
I like the idea of using ... RockAuto.com I love that store !

How long can you drive on a bad wheel bearing?
I believe my right front bearing is finished. It's makes a really loud rotational grinding type of sound at low speeds. I need to get it to the mechanic, and I was wondering what damage may happen driving it another 25km to get it fixed.
