Hi Everyone!

I have owned this car since October 2009 and in the middle of January 2010, i went to start the car on a Monday after not driving it all weekend and could not start the car. (Just like if the battery died) So i called CAA they came and started the car by cranking the ignition and giving it some gas. It looked bad as he was doing it!!!! but the car started up. I took it in for my first service and told them about this and they said everything checked out including the battery.

Its now March 22nd, 2010 and this morning it did it again!!!!! The CAA guy said its not the battery and he mentioned something could be up with the fuel injector! So i called my dealership and I expressed my problems and they told me to bring it in and said fuel injector problems do not start till I have hit like 100K+.

Anyone going through with this problem? Any help would be great! I hope they can fix this!

I also read from another post on a different board that the main computer in the car is programmed to drain the battery if the car is not driven for over 2-3 days!! I hope this is not true!!!

Next time this happens, you should call the dealership. they should tell you to tow your car AS IS to the dealership. So they could see the problem for themselves. If it is a problem they will most likely give you money back for the tow because your car is still under warranty. Hope this helps.

+1. Let the dealer figure it out, especially since you are under warranty.

Yeah....I made an appointment with them for Wednesday. So fingers crossed that they can fix this problem! Only problem is I live in Waterloo and work in Mississauga and have no other means to get to work if I tow the vehicle to the dealership and they do not loan you cars for the day. So its tough. Anyone know any good Mazda Dealerships around 401/Winston Churchill. Thanks!!!

well we had the same problem but my problem was the battery, it couldnt hold a decent enough charge to start the car. only thing different about the situation is your car seems brand new.. definatly have it taken back since warrenty should still be valid. Wish you the best of luck

If you want to find mazda dealerships closest to where you work, go to google maps... type in 'Mazda' and you should see arrows pop up on the map. Then it's just a matter of finding the closest one.

So I took it in....they could not replicate the problem! Told me if I wanted I could leave it with them for a few days and they will try to start the car after a few days of inactivity to see if then then can identify the problem. (The problem arises when i do not drive the car a few days and go to start it and it wont start...dials/lights/music come on...engine wont start)

Only problem!- they DO NOT offer loaner car!- So i am stuck- what can I do? Are all dealerships like this with loaner cars? or it depends?

I live in Waterloo and work in Mississauga and I still take days/time off work to take it into the waterloo dealership. I should try some Mississauga dealerships it would be more convenient for me.

Any suggestions?
