Hey did anyone purchased rims from ebay before? I saw a set of 17 Inch Enkei EKM3 for around 700 CAD shipped from this store called LSD Motorsports, this is really cheap compare to the price got from some of the sponsors. I am kind of doubting why they are so cheap, are these fake? I think even if I have to pay duty, the price is still very reasonable.

Any inputs appreciated... BTW here is the site: http://cgi.ebay.ca/17-ENKEI-EKM3-GUNMETAL-RIMS-WHEELS-RSX-RX7-RX8-FUSHION_W0QQitemZ260464420559QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMo tors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item3ca4e3a6 cf

i thought about that too back when i was first looking for wheels.

1. alot of the wheels are stolen.
2. what if you get the shipment, and your wheels are bent/cracked/
3. warranty on above???
4. shipping shipping shipping.
5. duty duty duty/customs customs customs if buying from the states.

even garage 16 has some nice looking rims! I'd stay local for rims instead of buying online or from overseas.

Ebay isn't bad, but I would recommend a local sponsor over Ebay. There is always that risk when buying on Ebay, especially with the higher cost of rims.

THe only problem with buying those rims from ebay is by the time you get them your probaly going to either pay more or the same as here.

YOur looking at $709.79 shipped..$569.79 for the rims and $140.00 for the shipping. Then add the brokege fees and the duty ans your well over $800

I agree, stay away from online purchases when dealing with expensive goods.
If you get burned 20-30, not the end of the world... but 600 is a lot.

When dealing with Ebay best to go with a a larger company with a lot of good feedback. Its only usually worth while if the price is very good and shipping is not too expensive. If there is a local option that is competitive then go with them. Gives you somewhere to go back to if any issues too.
