Alright so before I put my summer rims on my car, I'm going to need to get a new set of 205/50/17 tires, as the two sets I already have are bald. I've been doing some research and I've narrowed it down to two choices.

Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S
or
Bridgestone Potenza G019

I've never used Michelin tires before but I've heard very good things about their products, however I do have experience with Bridgestone tires as I've got a set of potenzas that I use as summer tires on my VW. I find the ride with them to be extremely quiet and smooth. The traction the car gets with them on is also very respectable. Tire thread life isn't bad really and the handling is great. I'm very satisfied with them but also think it might be time to give something else a shot. The Michelins are also more expensive but I don't mind spending the extra bucks if it's really worth it.

Thanks in advance for suggestions/feedback.

no one seems to be biting....
...I've never used Bridgestone before, so I can't comment on them
I currently have Michelin X-ice 2s for my winter tires (dont have summers yet, still looking) and have zero complaints. Before I got the mazda I drove a Ford Explorer with Michelins on them, and same thing, thought they were great (but those were a different model of winter tires as well). The only thing is that you pay big $$$ for Michelins. Is it worth it? Probably. They seem to have a very good tread life.

Based on the reviews on Tirerack, the choice is very clear. Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S is the winner!
