So I was driving along and I had to pull up beside someone on the sidewalk yesterday and tried to roll down my passenger side window. But it was stuck! Has anyone else experienced this problem before?

Basically, it's not the power window lock acting up. Basically it slides down about a centimeter and seems to get stuck on something. My solution was to get out of the car and nudge the window down while holding the window button to get it unstuck. It's not the first time it's happened, and sometimes it gets quite annoying when I need to roll down that window and I'm unable to :(

Car under bumper to bumper warranty? I'd get that checked out asap.

Thanks, I would assume it is under warrenty. It's an 07 with about 25k on it. I'm taking it in for the 24k maintenance in a few weeks so I'll bring it up then.

It's just it doesn't seem so much of a technical defect (like the motor dying out) but more of a "natural" one. It kind of sounds like a suction cup releasing when I finally coax it to roll down.

My car is beyond warranty, and my windows are very loud, and seem slow. I'm wondering if there is anything I should do to lubricate them or something. Every time I hit the switch the window makes a clunk sound from the motor right as it starts moving.

Try using silicone spray lube on all the rubber components. (Weatherstripping) Rubber usually gets sticky and tends to hold the window. Every six months should do it. Can of lube spray is around 5 bucks. Can get at any auto parts store or wal-mart.
