I have to be honest. The rims is not my cup of tea, and the wheel gap is kinda big...make the cars look odd especially there is no bumper lip, no skirt added, BUT rims on stock suspension.

I'd have to agree with him here.

That being said, to each their own and as long as you like it that's all that matters. I think some bodywork would definitely help your cause here and at least some drop might help too. =P

Looks good, Don't have to drop, if it's a daily driver dropping the car and snow don't work.

i think a lot of people or almost everyone use there 3's as DD and have them lowered i dont think snow matters much with only an 1 or 2 drop? i really dont mind the look i think the tires look really really big but maybe its bec of the lip? its almost like the tires make the rim look like 16 instead of 17 or something?

edit: looking at them again they dont look as big as i first thought.. not sure tho for some reason the wheels just look a little small? :( like the style tho and your 3's color is sick!

sorry to say but those rims are just not my cup of tea. i am not a fan of chrome/polished lips. The black doesnt help as it makes the rims appear smaller. I appologize for my negative opinions

lip kits already ordered, and thinkin of getting a set of prokits to drop about 1.5, i personally love the look. BTW Noone feel bad about dropping negative comments, ill take comments any way they come, good or bad, no worries. Ive always loved the black with the polished lip look. i agree they do look like 16's due to the lip, gunna need to upgrade to 18s some day. But for now i think the black really darkens up the copper and gives it that sleek look. I'm personally a fan haha.

off topic, but how much did you pay to have your kit installed, the drop kit i mean, or did you do it yourself, i see i can get a prokit for about 250 but im wondering what install is after that.

Jimmy owns Street Peformance in Markham. I can confirm its $100 to install lowering springs (all 4). Before I went to him, I was quoted $100 per wheel at some places (WTF?)

well 100$/ corner at a dealer seems relatively normal as they are putting aftermarket parts on a car that they dont really approve of and if something goes wrong with it they are on the hook for it

+1 respect point for being a good guy.

when i first started moding my car no one liked how it look... i got comments from everyone that it was silly and not there style and didnt look right but what i found after was when i got all the major stuff on they changed their mind. or some did. i think my car looks great now and always have but along the road got a lot of negative.. anyway all im saying is that maybe its because we cant see your vision and dont know what you want it to look like down the road (no pun intended lol) im being careful not to say in the end bec as we all know moding our cars never ends.. lol but i say keep it up and prove me wrong that the wheels dont fit it that well lol ill be the first to say i was wrong about the look :)

haha will do buddy, make ya chew on your words lol, just kiddin, ya thats the fun of modding, everyones got there own style and what they think looks good. And in the end you gotta be happy with watt you've put into it right, and take the good and the bad as they come. This is a brand new car so im far from done modding and these are definitely not my last set of wheels haha, just the first big step in the road.

I know how you feel. They look awesome, I just put a set of XXR black chrome 18" on mine but I won't post a pic until its lowered because it looks like I'm driving a 4X4 army vehicle.

It will look awesome lowered. Are you going pro kits or coil overs?

i was focusing more so on the far from done comment lol. but i ran the stocker 15's, went to 16's, then put on 15's for winter with winter tires, bought 17's banged them up because i put them on to early. I was 2 km away from work and i hit a curb because i hit black ice. Sold those and bought another set of 17's ran those for 1 season sold them and got my 18s.
Wrote the car off managed to save my 18s from the crash just they were all scratched up from the accident. Got my new 3 had the oem 17`s took them off the 2nd day i owned them and put my 18`s on again. traded my 17`s for 16`s and wrapped some winters around them. well theres the breakdown of my wheels lol
