I was at a restaurant, and they informed us they were participating in earth hour, and would dim the lights, and bring candles. Sure enough, we got the candles, and as earth hour approached they turned off many of the lights, and the music, etc. Turned out really nice.

Earth Hour lasted 3 minutes for me.
My 3 year old daughter kept singing the ending of "Happy Birthday" and kept blowing out the candles.
....so I let her watch TV as I snuck out for some MGD in the garage under the moonlight.
