I am getting a brand new 2010 GS Sedan this Tuesday from Oakville Mazda. It's Graphite Mica, 23% tint all around. I can't afford new rims right now, but my friend's dad does powder coating and would coat this for cheap/free. My question: is it worth it to powder coat the stock wheels? Can it be done? Has it been done? Will it look good? What Colours? I'm totally new at cars and I just know I want my mazda to look sweet.

Thanks in advance!

search the forum... there's threads here on powder coating. lots of people seem to go for a gunmetal look.
If it's going to be cheap/free for you... why not??? not many people have it, so it will set you apart!

Just remember, you will need another set of wheels to use while the process is going on or you will need 4 jack stands.

A while back someone had 2010 GS wheels powdercoated bronze for sale in the classifieds. You can search to see what they looked like if they still have the pics posted.
