Well i'm considering buying another set of wheels for the car.. Tenzo's are kinda getting boring for me lol..

Just browsing around and checking out some options, I really love the look of the Bronze TE37's, but of course the price is way too much..

What's the best Replica to buy if you want to go with a TE37 style? Looking at 18's probably

:)

you can be fooled by the looks.

but none of the rays forged etc words are imprinted on the replicas.

also, the replicas aren't even close to the same quality.

just find a used set on other forums.

Yeah i may just browse around, i'm in no rush, but if i see a deal i'd jump on it.. they just look so sexy and clean! I want!

the countersteer look pretty good though. I wnder if the bronze finish matches the volks down to a tee.

Save up and get the real deal. I love these wheels... my top 3 for my next rim. Had them chopped onto my car::

Replica wheels only suck if you try and past them off as real. But of course there are alternatives.
Not everyone can justify the cost of 'real' wheels, more so for daily driver use.

like most said - look around for a real set, if you're not in the rush. there is a reason why real ones cost more, but there's always an option of getting them used.

Bunch of wheel snobs.

For street use Rota's are fine and honestly Volks are a bit overkill. They are amazingly strong light wheels but at the cost premium unless you are tracking the car not worth it. That is the only reason to buy Volks for street use, because you want people to think you are so rich you can waste money on expensive wheels you don't need.

Just as common as the TE37's the Work CR KAI.

Never understood the affection with them.

They're not even light... I suppose they're for they're relatively light?

My bad.. But they sure don't make it easy to verify its weight. Both Enkei and Kosei have multiple sites in the first hits with charts of weights... TE37 not so much.
