Looking for a suitable alternative to RX-8 rims. A lightweight one would be nice and I saw these on another forum. Can't seem to figure out which ones they are not even sure they are lightweight. Hoping someone here might be able to figure it out.

RX8's are around 21.5lbs I think.... people get too hung up on wheel weight. A pound or two on a car you drive on the streets everyday, never track, and dont want to spend a ton on wheels for... they are fine :)

I found the car seems more 'lively' with lightweight rims. Seeing as it's low on power to begin with.

You will notice a difference for sure... but for most, its not worth the cost. Plus the styles they like arent always offered in lightweight.

How come more people dont invest in light weight lugs? :)

to be fair, my konig feathers cost me less than my 23lb wheels i originally had....

18" and lightweight don't make sense to me, if you want lightweight get some 16s. 18" is just for show.

Nice looking wheels though.

I don't notice any problems at highway speeds but I do notice the gas consumption during city driving it's horrible with OEM 17's. Now the RX-8's are 2.5 lbs less than the OEM 17's so I might go with those. I didn't even know lightweight lugs existed :chuckle
