Chrome Dipped Bulbs [Archive]

Hey Guys/Ladies,

I was cruising around CarDomain and came across someone who has "chrome dipped bulbs" in their headlights and tail lights and I think it looks amazing!! I want some! Anybody know where to get them? If anyone on here has them, could you please post a pic?

Nextmod carries the Chrome dipped bulbs, and has them in stock.

Partsource has them too. They have have to order them in, but they can get them. However beware of the Watt count... i ordered rear turn signal amber chrome dipped bulbs for my 04 M3 GT and put them in... 3 minutes later they burnt out and had started melting at the socket. They were only 8W and the stock bulbs are 21W!!!!!! The brand of the bulbs i tried were 'Xenon Chrome'... just make sure wherever you get the chrome dipped bulbs from that they are the same W's as the stock.
