loud screech noise on passenger side suspension

Hi guys, i just notice today that when i turn my steering wheel all the way to the right, i can hear a very loud screech noise. The noise is only noticeable when the steering wheel almost reach the limit. The car handles and drives normal and i only have 14k on the engine. It is definitely not the whining noise from the power steering unit. Can anyone shred some light? Thanks in advance.

I got a 2010 and when it's close to the extreme left/right mine sort of makes a sound too... I won't say it's loud but noticable for sure.

The noise sounds like the screech when you close a door.

Nothing at all, it doesn't vibrate either. The noise is excactly like a screech door. What the heck?

I have the same. it's coming from power steering.

I asked around.. someone told me all mazda do this.

take it to dealership if you want it checked out since it's 2009.

Propably the tires scratching the inner fender(plastic)???, do u have aftermarket rims??

besides the CAI and HID, everything is stock. I will check it next time when I go for an oil change. Thanks guys.

I am having a similar problem; loud nooise coming from rear suspension when riding over even a small stone. Due for service in another 500 Km so i will get the dealer to sort out for me.

Sorry i can't help. Is the whining noise from the power steering normal when it is fully turned left or right? I have driven a toyota corolla for 7 years and i have never experienced this before.

I drove my car today and the noise was gone. Weird!
