Open doors

So I'm the most notorious with not closing my door hard enough.
But on Wednesday night, we were at Timmies Heartland, just having coffee.
When I started driving, it says not all doors are close, so I shut mine, then everyone else did.
But the icon was still there!
So when we all got back to my place, we found out it was the trunk ? WTF.
Noone got out of the car when we were at Timmies. So I didn't know whow the trunk was ever opened?
Anyways, anything similar happened to you all before? :loco

I hit the trunk release on my wifes keys all the time.

It happened to me once. I didn't realize the trunk was unlocked until I got to work... I think I must have hit the trunk button on key fobs.

IIRC i think it was for 09+

Maybe an 08 or 08.5 can chime in and confirm?

so does prinsesa have an aftermarket alarm or stock because my 2010 gx didn't come with the fobs or the module but has the trunk actuator installed

Then install one!

There's a number of ways to do it... I used the OEM trunk mechanism, a DEI module, and a relay. Triggered by pressing the door unlock four times (could have used three, but I wanted the extra press as a buffer so prevent accidentally opening the trunk when only unlocking only the doors)

If I accidentally hit the trunk release button on my keyfob and the trunk popped open, I'd be delighted since I've got an 07 and no trunk release!
But there's always that hope that if I push that button enough times, the trunk will pop open. lol

lol no, its not like, i filled up, drove around for one or two days
and didnt notice the open door icon on my dash lol
drove my car to timmies, sat there, had coffee, then drove off, then the icon thing pops up

lol, something similar happened to me, i started driving from fiancee's parents' house and i see the light and i was wtf, check all the doors and still one, eventually check the trunk and it was opened...i don't know how it got opened :D

It was really weird. Plus I had to endure everyones whining about me not closing doors hard enough.
