signal light problem!! please help

hey guys, my driver side's turn signal light has been out for a while, so i decided to fix it today. I found out that the fuse was blown, but i changed the bulb anyways, cause i wanted different colors. the problem is after i replaced the fuse, my front driver side signal light won't flicker when i signal left; it is always on, as if continuously signalling without break in between, so the head light get really hot... i'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix this. thanks

Try taking the bulb out and rotating it before putting it back into the socket. This happened when I installed my bulb and it has to do with the bulb having 2 filaments, and the incorrect one getting power for the turn vs parking light or something like that.
