Hey guys,
I might be a bit paranoid but I was recently in a small incident where I had run over a pole/sign that was on the middle of the road and mangled it under my splash shield. I've noticed the car is sort of sluggish recently..I don't know how to explain it and I know it is an atx but for some reason the car doesn't seem to accelerate the same. I find the low end is a little bit hesitant however it drives fine on the top end. It feels like the engine is working harder and louder, and the acceleration feels like it is boggy in 1st and 2nd and it seems to stay in 3rd a bit longer than usual. Any thing I should be looking into guys?

yeah i figured it could just be me being a little bit paranoid after i had that sign stuck under my splash shield, i had jimmy look it over, nothing visible...

Yeah the dealer or Jimmy could look at it for you, but the odds that it could all be just paranoia are high as well.

Give it a week or two and see if you feel the same way, then if you do get it checked out.

No CEL?
our CELS seem to fire at everything - So I wouldn't be too worried.

Try turning off the A/C. Its warmer out. ;-)

Only other thing I can think of - Hows the gas mileage - Perhaps something yanked a wire and your airflow sensor is screwed?
BUt My car always feels like a dog as soon as its over 20 degrees outside - And I drive stick!

Have you been under the car since for a good look? I cant think of anything special under there a sign could really hurt except your oil filter.. and im sure you'd notice that. Pull your negative terminal from battery, count to 30 and put it back on. Start car and let it idle for a few mins then take it for a rip. I find an ECU reset after a while help the way my car performs but i have no proof, just the personal feeling.

I've had Jimmy take a quick look under the car to check for any damage and he did not find much, I'm going to try the ECU reset today..i also haven't noticed much in terms of a drop in gas mileage or anything.
