Hey guys my mazda 3 has had trouble starting since i got it, the dealer is paying to fix it but they cant find the problem, i'm taking it in this week too but just want some opinions.

So when i start the car it cranks and sounds like its going to start but it doesn't, if i keep the key turned it just keeps cranking. The seconds time i attempt to start the car it starts fine. This happens when the car is sitting for a good 20 minutes or longer.

For now to start it on the "first time" i have to turn the accessories on for 5 seconds then turn them off, turn them on again for 5 seconds and turn them off. I do that 3 times and then i start the car and it starts fine.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a fuel system problem.

I agreed with Noisy Crow, sounds as a “glitch” of fuel pump regulator.
Since 15-30 minutes the battery loses a part of charge, so might to be
a weak fuel pump relay or main relay.
Edited: Reread your post. If you can hear that the engine trying to start forget
about relay.
If you have an ability to charge the battery you can check if problem dependant
on the battery voltage.
