Okay. I'm torn between these two rims for my Pearl White 2010 3 sport. Want to pick some up ASAP!
I've seen some killer shots of the EKM3, but none of the G5s.
Thoughts? Opinions? Which one do you like?

The links don't work. All it does is take you to tire rack site. Maybe post the pics manually.

They are both sweet, kinda hard to say?? But if I had to pick one I'd go with the G5.
Where are you getting them and how much. I may be interested in a set!!

No it's not that lol, seriously I saw on M3F this dude with a 2010 and 17x7 EKM3, the mesh pattern of the rim and don't match the overall theme of the 2010's

I think I'm leaning towards the G5's... unless there is something else that catches my eye. shu5892001 is right... the lines of the 2010 are hard to "match" with aftermarket rims. Even with those 'emulators' that show you what your rims "may" look like, it doesn't give you the full feel that a real picture or seeing it in person does.

EKM5 hands down.
Get yourself a nice set of Mazda centrecaps afterwards and you'll be set!

The mesh pattern of the EKM3 gives a pointy nature to the car, if you know what I mean, and the lines on the 2010 are too smooth to be blended with the the pointy mesh pattern, here is a example of what it would look like:

Is that guy about to go mudding or something? I could fit a family of 5 in those fender gaps...holy smokes!
I agree that the G5 flows better with the '10.

Hi Bothinator ,
I too just got an 2010 m3s in white. would love to see some pictures of ur new ride in those rims. (They look sick). Can u also tell me how much u got them for and what you needed done in order to get them fitted on your car without rubbing? Did you get 17" or 18"? what tire did you use 40, 45, 50?. I'm also looking at getting new rims. Initally I was thinking about getting these because they have the snowflake feel to it. Wanted something simuilar to the 2010 Mazda speed rims.

Hey everyone.
I finally got around to taking some pictures of my new wheels! I got the G5s and they are SWEET!!
To answer some questions:
- I got the 18's
- They are fitted with 215/45R-18 Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport XL. So far the ride on these tires has been effing awesome!!!! The grip is great, the cornering is unbelievable, and the wet traction is fantastic.
- There is ZERO rubbing with this setup. I just had to mount them and done! :thumbsup The setup I got came with the tires mounted and balanced. The wheels also came with a centering ring pre-installed as well. Literally, jack up my car, mount the wheels... done!

nice choice man looks awsome!
18s with 40 profile will never rub as they are almost the exact diameter of your stock 17s with 45 profile

i'm about to get some ekm3 rims and i was online placing an order for a bunch of detailing products and when i get to wheel cleaners im not sure what to get. i see that some cleaners not to use on wheels with clear coats. are these rims considered bare aluminum wheels?, clear coated rims? or ally rims? can anyone shine some light for me.

consult the enkei website.
or make your life really easy and just pick up a bottle of sonax rim cleaner.
