I have a little predicament here...
So we have a 2007 Mazda 3 GT with snowflakes with a set of Michelin Pilot Exalto's A/S (17")
Last night one the tires was punctured, and my mom took it to Canadian Tire and Firestone, the sidewall is too damaged to get fixed...
These tires have about a year and 3 months of driving on them (30,000 KM) They still have great tread but I am trying to made a decision here...the tires that we on this car are really expensive ($250 a piece) and I'd have to get 2 because it just wouldn't balance properly. Secondly, the snowflakes don't look pretty to me anymore (curb rash, etc.)
I figured I'd look for rims + tires on here and Kijiji, and I found a set 4 2010 16" rims + tires (bridgestone) for $500.
Is it going to be a BIG difference between the 16" and 17" wheels? We use winters in the winter so thats not an issue to keep in mind...
I need to make a decision on this quickly, because the car is driving on a spare and it sucks :complain
I plan to sell the snowflakes + rubber for $300'ish...since they are still in shape but have curb rash :(...
PS: The 2010 set is fairly NEW!
