4L engine oil?

Hi guys,

I just did a oil change at a garage today. The mechanic drained out the old oil and added 4L new oil. He found the oil is full based on the dipstick. However, I remember the oil capacity is 4.3L from the owner's manual.

I checked the dipstick again after I drove back home and it was full. I wonder if I should add another 0.3L into it or just leave it. BTW, mine is a 2006 hatchback of 2.3L

I would just leave it, when you drain the oil out of the oil pan it doesn't all drain...there is still oil left in the engine, in the oil galleries, upper valve train and covering the bearings and such so that when you restart your engine nothing is running without lubrication...if your really worried recheck the oil level in a week and go from there but really you should be fine!
