View Full Version : Someone is selling 17" snowflakes with 225 50R17 tires...

I can get them for 500$ with tires which have enough thread for at least one year. Now the problem is the tire size isnt the stock size and comes in @ 3.02% larger diameter.

First things first, is it safe to run those?

And second, would you go for it knowing the tires dont match stock specs?

He advertises them as mint so I am expeting them to be in good shape.

Meh... I woudln't. I got mine for way less than 500, with the correct tire sizes.

I'm surprised they mounted 225s on a 6.5 wide rim.

Thanks guys, I passed on them. The tires were pretty much done and didnt like that they were the wrong size. Because I would have to buy new rubber and most likely pay 400$ for them. I decided to wait it out and see what comes.

Only thing that sucks is that these dont come up often in Ottawa...
