So I was swapping the clear lens , the headlight lens melted while it was being heated in the oven,
now it has this big melted spot on the lens, about 3 or 4 inches oval shape, any one knows if i can sand it out or any other solution that can get rip of the spot?
I was thinking if the eye lids would cover it... um...

Sounds right to me. You had it in the middle or top shelf in the oven?

Your gonna loose the UV layer on the outside. You'll have to put vinyl to protect it, sechemedia.ca can help with that.

bottom shelf actually
Sorry this had to happen to you!
I think there were a few headlights for sale... I believe someone had one for parts....
For everyone else: use a meat themometer to check that you oven heats correctly. You might set the dial to 200°, but the thermostat on some ovens is mechanical, so it's accuracy can be off. Or the wire can get bent etc. etc.

and also use a wet towel to cover the whole headlight to prevent it from melting .
